Mark nickerson

Mark Nickerson has almost 20 years of experience in public accounting, most of which came from working at a large, nationally recognized CPA firm. Over the years, he has developed a specialty in working with small to mid-sized closely held private businesses as well as their respective owners. Mark also serves as an Assistant Professor of Accounting in the School of Business at the State University of New York at Fredonia and has been published numerous times in double-blind peer reviewed accounting journals. He has obtained his Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS), and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designations and is certified as QuickBooks Online Certified ProAdvisor. Mark has obtained his MBA from the University at Buffalo and both his MS in Accounting and Doctorate in Business Administration – Accounting from Liberty University.

kaylei nickerson

Kaylei is an experienced Certified Public Accountant who has worked in both the public and private sector. Kaylei has experience working with both individuals and small, mid-sized and large businesses in the Western New York Area providing both tax compliance and planning services. Additionally, she has knowledge in providing international tax services to dual citizen individuals living abroad. She has a background in financial statement preparation and bookkeeping services as well. Kaylei is a member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA) and the New York State Society of CPA’s (NYSSCPA). Currently, Kaylei serves as the Director of Finance for a large non-profit in the area and serves as the Treasurer of Family Promise of WNY.

Mabel, cdo

Mabel is the Firm's Chief Dog Officer (CDO) and plays a unique and innovative role within the office. As the CDO, she is responsible for creating a dog-friendly environment that promotes employee well-being and happiness. She develops and implements policies and guidelines to ensure the safety, comfort and happiness of all canine and human companions in the workplace. She is also in charge of organizing fun activities and events for dogs and their human colleagues, fostering a sense of community and camaraderie. By embracing the presence of dogs in the office, the CDO helps to create a positive and inclusive work culture that values the bond between humans and their beloved pets.
